MY BLOG
People, who know me, know that I love food- eating, preparing, photographing, talking about - you name it. When I was thinking about my courses offer for this year I couldn't resist the temptation to use a restaurant menu to present what I've prepared. So, what's on the TMM menu this year? Please check it out, I am sure you won't be disappointed. For more info please check the courses website HERE
September is a back to school month. And even though our school days might be well over, September is a month when we usually start a new course, plan our future education or look for new opportunities and challenges.
We all want the learning process to be better, more engaging and far more effective then it was last year. We start to make new commitments and resolutions.’ I will always have my homework on time’ – never seemed more plausible than now. I don’t want to spoil the fun and tell you it’s not going to happen. Actually, I want to believe that this school year will be different; that the English course you’re about to start will be different. I keep my fingers crossed for you (and me). Before you start your course again think of what your main goal is. What do you imagine your English skills will be like in 8 months from now? Also think of these little steps that will take you there. Make your plans; I mean really make them- take a pen and put your goals down, then display them in a place where you usually study. Challenge yourself with different projects; discuss them with your teacher; be determined to see the results. And work hard. One last thing: Don't look back! Don't think about past failures, projects that you didn't deliver last year, poor Quizlet input. Let's forget it once and for all and start with a clean slate. Here are some phrases for us to put into practice a clean sheet/slate the situation in which people decide to forget your past behaviour, usually because it was not good: You were very lazy last term, but we'll start again with a clean sheet this term. fresh start (new beginning) an opportunity to begin something again: Anna is looking forward to a fresh start with her new team. |
