A few basic facts "Hello, my name is Agnieszka. I help professionals to master their English communication. Some would classify me a freelance language tutor - and there is some truth in that as I'm a TESOL qualified teacher of English. I also hold an MA in English Philology and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status for England and Wales). However, my primary goal is to teach communication, not the language. I started teaching online before it was fashionable and I've been doing it since ... the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. A few clichés I genuinely love working with adults and business people. Seeing people develop their potential is more than encouragement. My goal is to give you tools so you could enjoy using English every day.
A few unpopular truths People say I am demanding. Well, I am not sure if I would describe myself like that. But ... It's hard for me to turn a blind eye on 3-nesses: sloppiness, laziness and passiveness. And I guess, I could be a bit straightforward with my dark humour comments at times (but I am working on that)
A few updates In 2022 I gave my courses a complete overhaul. Now, I don't really offer separate lessons but various courses - ranging from really intensive ones to the pleasant stay-in-touch-with-English classes. And just because I and a lot of my students like coffee I decided to name different courses after different types of coffee.
A few beliefs I believe that learning a language is an ongoing challenge. We try, we fail and then we try again. English opens us up to new reality, new experiences and new challenges. And most importantly ... language is a living and breathing phenomenon; it develops, it changes, it is creative and it hates stagnation. One can truly say that they know the language when they're able to use it for its ultimate and most important purpose: COMMUNICATION.
A few future plans
The connection of language and psychology in effective communication has been one of my top interests and I am actively striving to integrate this dynamic relationship more comprehensively into my courses.
