Examples

  • The company adapted to market changes by pivoting its business model towards e-commerce.
​Adopt means to take up or start using something new, such as an idea, method, or lifestyle. It can also mean to legally take another person's child into your family and raise them as your own.
Examples
  • They adopted a rescue dog from the shelter.
  • I adopted meditation as a way to reduce stress.
  • Our company adopted remote work policies during the pandemic.
