Course Information & Terms of Cooperation
0. Mutual Respect Before anything else, the first and most important rule is: mutual respect.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
I expect us to respect one another — our time, our boundaries, and the learning space we are creating together. Respect is the foundation of our cooperation. I am always open to working with you within this framework. If something feels unclear or difficult, please bring it up — we can find solutions together.
1. Technical Requirements
- Stable internet connection is your responsibility. Please check it before every class.
- Headphones are mandatory. They are essential for clear sound and focus.
⚠️ If you repeatedly attend classes without headphones, your contract will be terminated. - Please have your learning space ready before each class (Zoom opened, materials or links at hand).
2. Communication
- Outside classroom time, you may contact me via WhatsApp: 739 907 487.
- Do not use WhatsApp for class cancellations.
- For absences or schedule changes, always use the Absence Form button (available in your Learning Space under “I will be absent”).
3. Payments & Invoices
- Invoices are issued in advance via the invoicing system.
- Please pay your invoice on time.
- Failure to pay on time (without prior notification) will be treated as contract termination.
- After 3 months of reliable cooperation, we may switch to payment in arrears.
- Please make sure you plan and take the full scope of your classes each month.
- If you decide to terminate the agreement, you may do so at any time — however, the full monthly fee for the current month is still payable (even if you stop attending mid-month).
- This ensures stability and fairness.
- The only exception is if we agree otherwise in special circumstances.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- There is no free cancellation.
- All cancellations are fully charged, unless you reschedule.
- Rescheduling is possible only if you cancel at least 24h before class.
- After cancelling in time, I will propose 2 rescheduling options.
- If you cannot use them, the lesson is fully paid.
- Rescheduling depends on my availability — I will offer what is possible, but I may not be able to provide your “ideal” time.
- Repeated cancellations will result in termination of our agreement.
- ⚠️ Cancellations with less than 24h notice are fully paid and cannot be rescheduled, no matter the circumstances. I understand emergencies happen, but please do not take this as a rule or put pressure on me to make exceptions.
- ⚠️ In June, no rescheduling is possible (as this is the final month of classes). If you are absent in June, those lessons are lost.
- If I (the teacher) cancel or reschedule, you are not obligated to agree unless you wish to. Your lesson count and payments remain unaffected.
5. Attendance & Punctuality
- I will wait for you 10 minutes on Zoom from the scheduled time.
- If you do not appear within this time and give no notification, the class will be treated as cancelled with full payment due.
- If you arrive late, your class will not be extended beyond the scheduled end time.
- Please bear in mind that I teach other students right after your class, and sometimes arriving late leaves too little time to make the class meaningful.
6. Homework & Preparation
- Please respect your learning process: do your homework and come prepared.
- If you cannot complete assignments, inform me at least 1 day before class so I can adjust the plan.
- Occasional busy weeks are understandable — just communicate with me.
